Receipe to make Kerala Style Paneer

  • Serves: 2 People
  • Ingredients to make Kerala Style Paneer :

  • 100 Grams Paneer (Cottage Cheese)
  • 1/2 Red Pepper
  • 1/2 Yellow Pepper
  • 20 Curry Leaves
  • 2 Chopped Onion
  • 2 chopped Tomato
  • 2 chopped green chilies
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon black Pepper powder
  • 2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam Masala powder
  • 2 Black Cardamons
  • 2 Kashmiri Red Chili Whole
  • Cloves,
  • 2 Tablespoon Oil
  • How to make Kerala Style Paneer :

  • Heat oil in a pan, crackle the cloves and cardamons and fry until its fragrant.
  • Add in the mustard seeds and let them crackle, add onions, green chillies and curry leaves,ginger-garlic paste saute and fry till its tender.
  • Then add the paneer pieces and fry on a high flame and brown them.
  • Add chopped bell pepper and saute it for few minutes.
  • Now lower the flame and add salt,Kashmiri red chilli, pepper powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and saute and fry until the oil separates.
  • Add the tomatoes and cook it in a low flame for 4-5 mins stirring from time to time.
  • Now add 3/4 cup of water and cook for another 5-7 mins.
  • Serve it hot with some garlic naan or zeera rice.
