Ingredients to make Shakshuka :
- 3 Eggs
- 1 small Onion, chopped
- 1/2 Yellow Bell Pepper
- 1/2 Red Bell Pepper
- 4 Garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 tbsp Tomato puree
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
- Cilantro to garnish
- Salt to taste
How to make Shakshuka :
Heat oil in a large skillet, add onions and saute until they become soft and translucent.
Add the bell peppers and garlic and cook until softened.
Add the tomato puree, paprika and salt, cook for 2 mins.
Crack the eggs into the mixture, cover and let this cook for 5 mins.
Season with pepper and a pinch of salt, cook for another 3-5 mins.
Remove from heat, garnish with cilantro and serve hot
