How to make Potato 65

  • Serves: 3 People

    Ingredients to make Potato 65 :

  • 4-5 medium sized par-boil Potatoes or aloo
  • 3 tbsp purpose Flour/maida
  • 3 tbsp corn Flour
  • 7-8 Curry Leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp Coriander powder
  • ½ tsp Cumin powder
  • ½ tsp black Pepper powder
  • ½ tsp garam Masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp tandoori Masala
  • 2 to 3 tsp Ginger garlic paste or crushed Ginger garlic
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • few Coriander for garnish
  • Water as required
  • 1 cup hung Curd
  • 1 Teaspoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 Onion sliced
  • 3-4 Curry Leaves
  • Salt as required
  • Oil for frying
  • Onion,cabbage,Carrot slice for serving
  • Onion rings for serving

    How to make Potato 65 :

  • Par-boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker for 1-2 whistles.
  • Make a thick batter with all the ingredients except for oil and potatoes, peel and dice the parboiled potatoes.
  • Add the diced boiled potatoes to the batter.
  • Fry the batter coated potatoes in hot oil till golden brown & crisp.
  • Take oil in pan on medium heat add mustard seeds,when it cracks.., add onion sliced and curry leaves
  • Add hung curd, cook for 2 minutes then add fried potatoes and cook for a while.
  • Serve potato 65 hot garnished with coriander along with some some green chutney or tomato sauce and salad.
