 INGREDIENTS:
- 500 gm baby Potatoes
- 50 gm Onions – sliced
- 8-10 cloves garlic paste
- A pinch of fenugreek seed
- 1 tsp cuminseeds
- 10 gm aniseeds
- ¼ tsp onion seeds
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 100 gm curd
- 30 gm Cashew paste
- 4 green chilies chopped
- 60 ml mustard oil
- Chopped coriander leaves
- Salt for taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Method to cook Pickled Potatoes:
- Clean, peel and parboil the baby potatoes
- Heat the oil till it smoked
- Now sprinkle the pinch of fenugreek seed, 1 tsp cuminseeds, 10 gm aniseeds, ¼ tsp onion seeds, 1 tsp mustard seeds
- Add Onions, green chilies and saute till it get gold
- Add Garlic and turmeric and suate it well
- Then add the curd, cashew nut paste with little water nd keep aside
- Put potatoes in the pan with little oil and suate for 3-5 mins
- Add all the mixture and potatoes and simmer it in light fire, till the potatoes are done
- For garnish Spread the coriander leafs and serve it..!!
