200 gms Cottage cheese (Paneer)
1 Onion Chopped
1 Tomato Chopped
1 Green chilli Finely chopped
2 – 3 chopped garlic Finely
1/2 chopped ginger ” Finely
1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
1 teaspoon Coriander powder powder
3/4 teaspoon Chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder powder
1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon Fennel powder
to taste Salt
2 tablespoons Coriander leaves Chopped
How to Make Paneer Bhurji (Scrambled Cottage Cheese)
Crumble the paneer and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan.
Tip in the cumin seeds.
Once they start to crackle, add the chopped onion.
Saute till lightly brown in colour.
Add the chopped chilli, garlic and ginger and saute for a minute.
Tip in the coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, fennel powder and cumin powder.
Saute for a minute.
Add the chopped tomato and cook till it becomes soft.
Add the crumbled paneer and salt and mix well.
Cook for a minute.
Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
