200 gms Cottage cheese (Paneer)
1 Onion Chopped
1 Tomato Chopped
1 Green chilli Finely chopped
2 – 3 chopped garlic Finely
1/2 chopped ginger ” Finely
1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
1 teaspoon Coriander powder powder
3/4 teaspoon Chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder powder
1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon Fennel powder
to taste Salt
2 tablespoons Coriander leaves Chopped

How to Make Paneer Bhurji (Scrambled Cottage Cheese)

  1. Crumble the paneer and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Tip in the cumin seeds.
  4. Once they start to crackle, add the chopped onion.
  5. Saute till lightly brown in colour.
  6. Add the chopped chilli, garlic and ginger and saute for a minute.
  7. Tip in the coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, fennel powder and cumin powder.
  8. Saute for a minute.
  9. Add the chopped tomato and cook till it becomes soft.
  10. Add the crumbled paneer and salt and mix well.
  11. Cook for a minute.
  12. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
  13. Serve hot.
