How to make Palak pakoda

    Ingredients to make Palak pakoda :

  • Spinach/palak leaves – 1/2 bundle
  • gram/Besan flour – 1 cup
  • Rice Flour – 1 tbsp
  • Red Chili powder – 1 tsp
  • ajwain – 1/2 tsp
  • chopped Ginger – 1/2 tsp
  • Onion chopped – 1/2
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required to fry

    How to make Palak pakoda :

  • Clean the leaves well and chop it finely. (use only the leaves).
  • In the bowl add in all the ingredients except oil and mix well.
  • First do not add water, if needed just sprinkle very little and form a dough. Like a roti dough.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Drop small portion of the prepared dough in to the hot oil and deep fry it.
  • When done drain it onto a tissue paper to remove excess oil.
  • Serve hot with some ketchup for tea/coffee.
