Ingredients to make Palak pakoda :
- Spinach/palak leaves – 1/2 bundle
- gram/Besan flour – 1 cup
- Rice Flour – 1 tbsp
- Red Chili powder – 1 tsp
- ajwain – 1/2 tsp
- chopped Ginger – 1/2 tsp
- Onion chopped – 1/2
- Salt to taste
- Oil as required to fry
How to make Palak pakoda :
Clean the leaves well and chop it finely. (use only the leaves).
In the bowl add in all the ingredients except oil and mix well.
First do not add water, if needed just sprinkle very little and form a dough. Like a roti dough.
Heat oil in a pan. Drop small portion of the prepared dough in to the hot oil and deep fry it.
When done drain it onto a tissue paper to remove excess oil.
Serve hot with some ketchup for tea/coffee.
