Ingredients to make Pakistani Garlicky red lentil spinach soup :
- Any Spinach that cooks quickly ( washed and chopped ) 2 cups
- Garlic pods 7 finely chopped
- Ginger flakes 1 teaspoon
- Shallots 3 finely chopped / grated .
- Red lentil cooked 1 cup
- Red lentil stock 3 large glasses
- Salt as required
- Green Chillies 2
- Cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Garam Masala a pinch .
How to make Pakistani Garlicky red lentil spinach soup :

In a sauce pan , melt butter.

Add chopped garlic , ginger flakes and sauté for a minute .

Add chopped shallots . Sauté for 2 minutes .

Add cumin powder .

Add salt .

Add the cooked mashed dal along with lentil stock .

Add spinach and cover the pan for 5 minutes .

Add a pinch of Garam Masala .

Let the lentil spinach soup boil for a minute .

Switch off the flame .
