How to make Matar Paneer

    Ingredients to make Matar Paneer :

  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup of pureed Onion
  • Puree of 2 ripe tomatoes + 3-4 Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp of garam Masala
  • 150 grams of Paneer
  • 1 cup of green Peas
  • Water 1 cup

    How to make Matar Paneer :

  • In a pressure cooker put oil and add ginger-garlic paste.
  • Roast it for a few minutes and add onion and cardamom powder.
  • Once the onion turns golden brown, add tomato puree and green chilli paste.
  • Add all the spices and salt. Cook till the gravy starts leaving the sides of the pan. Add paneer, green peas and give it a stir.
  • Now add water and close the lid.
  • Cook till 2 whistles and turn off the flame.
