Ingredients to make Matar Paneer :
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 cup of pureed Onion
- Puree of 2 ripe tomatoes + 3-4 Green Chillies
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tsp Red Chilli powder
- 1 tsp of garam Masala
- 150 grams of Paneer
- 1 cup of green Peas
- Water 1 cup
How to make Matar Paneer :
In a pressure cooker put oil and add ginger-garlic paste.
Roast it for a few minutes and add onion and cardamom powder.
Once the onion turns golden brown, add tomato puree and green chilli paste.
Add all the spices and salt. Cook till the gravy starts leaving the sides of the pan. Add paneer, green peas and give it a stir.
Now add water and close the lid.
Cook till 2 whistles and turn off the flame.
