How to Make Mango Shrikhand

Ingredients for Mango Shrikhand :

  • 2 medium ripe mangoes
  • 4 gm green cardamom
  • 6 gm hung curd
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup pistachios
  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 1/2 cup almonds

How to Make Mango Shrikhand :

  1. In a bowl, sift powdered sugar. Sifting helps remove lumps which are formed due to the moisture absorbed from air. Chop the nuts. Peel the ripe mangoes and cut them into pieces. In a food processor, add the mango pieces and process them until you get a smooth paste.
  2. In a grinder, add green cardamom pods and blend them into a fine powder. Add yogurt in a bowl. Add green cardamom powder, powdered sugar, half chopped nuts and mango pulp and whisk them well until everything gets mixed.
  3. You can also use a blender to mix all the ingredients nicely. Now place the bowl in the refrigerator for about 45 to 55 minutes. Post it, take it out in serving bowls and garnish it with nuts. You can also use mango slices or mango cubes, saffron or a strawberry for garnishing.
