How to make Kachche kela ka kofta curry
Take a bowl, put in the listed kofta ingredients and mix them well together. Divide this mixture into 10-12 portions and shape them into koftas. Keep them aside.
Heat oil as required in a kadhai/pan, once the oil is hot, deep fry these koftas in batches till they turn golden brown in colour. Drain on paper towels so that the excess oil is absorbed.
Heat ghee in a separate pan, add in the cardamoms, cloves and cinnamon and the powdered spices.
Once the spices pop, put in the turmeric powder and the chopped onions. Sauté and cook them for 2-3 minutes they turn into a beautiful golden brown colour.
Next, put in the red chilli powder and salt to taste. Stir well then pour in the the tomato purée, let this simmer and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Then pour in the cream and milk together, stir these ingredients so that they blend well. Simmer and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove this gravy from the heat, put in the honey and sugar and stir it well.
Place the koftas on a serving dish then pour this gravy on top and serve it hot alongside rice.
