    Ingredients to make Japanese Fried Chicken (Karaage) :

  • 450g Boneless Chicken
  • 1 tbs Ginger
  • Garlic clove
  • 2 tbs Soy sauce
  • 1 tbs Sake
  • 1 tbs Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Corn starch
  • Vegetable Oil for frying

    How to make Japanese Fried Chicken (Karaage) :

  • Mix ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sake and sugar in a bowl.
  • Add the chicken and coat well with the mixture. Cover and marinate for an hour.
  • Put the corn starch in a bowl. Add chicken to it and coat the pieces well.
  • Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pot. Fry the chicken until brown and cooked through.
  • Transfer chicken to paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Let it cool for a couple minutes and serve.
