Ingredients to make Japanese Fried Chicken (Karaage) :
- 450g Boneless Chicken
- 1 tbs Ginger
- 1 Garlic clove
- 2 tbs Soy sauce
- 1 tbs Sake
- 1 tbs Sugar
- 1/3 cup Corn starch
- Vegetable Oil for frying
How to make Japanese Fried Chicken (Karaage) :
Mix ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sake and sugar in a bowl.
Add the chicken and coat well with the mixture. Cover and marinate for an hour.
Put the corn starch in a bowl. Add chicken to it and coat the pieces well.
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pot. Fry the chicken until brown and cooked through.
Transfer chicken to paper towels to drain excess oil.
Let it cool for a couple minutes and serve.
