    Ingredients to make Instant Plantain Stem Pickle :

  • Plantain stem 250 gms
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chilli powder 1 tea spoon
  • Gingelly Oil 1 table spoon
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/2 Tea spoon
  • Asafoetida powder 1/4 Tea spoon
  • Turmeric powder a pinc

    How to make Instant Plantain Stem Pickle :

  • Peel off the skin of the stem and cut them into thin rounds.
  • Then chop them to fine cubic pieces
  • Add required salt, red chilli powder and turmeric
  • Dry roast fenugreek to golden brown and powder it.
  • Add it to the banana stem.
  • In sauteing pan heat oil. Do the seasoning with mustard seeds and asafoetida and pour it on the pickle.
  • Mix well. The instant pickle is ready to serve now.
  • Can be refrigerated and used for 2 to 3 days.
