Ingredients to make Instant Plantain Stem Pickle :
- Plantain stem 250 gms
- Salt to taste
- Red Chilli powder 1 tea spoon
- Gingelly Oil 1 table spoon
- Fenugreek seeds 1/2 Tea spoon
- Asafoetida powder 1/4 Tea spoon
- Turmeric powder a pinc
How to make Instant Plantain Stem Pickle :
Peel off the skin of the stem and cut them into thin rounds.
Then chop them to fine cubic pieces
Add required salt, red chilli powder and turmeric
Dry roast fenugreek to golden brown and powder it.
Add it to the banana stem.
In sauteing pan heat oil. Do the seasoning with mustard seeds and asafoetida and pour it on the pickle.
Mix well. The instant pickle is ready to serve now.
Can be refrigerated and used for 2 to 3 days.
