How to make Besan Dhokla

    Ingredients to make Besan Dhokla :

  • 1 cup – Besan
  • 1 cup – Curd
  • 1/4 cup – Semolina
  • 2 – Green chilies
  • 1 tbsp – Black Mustard Seeds
  • 1 sachet – Eno fruit Salt
  • Salt as per taste
  • Sugar as per taste

    How to make Besan Dhokla :

  • Mix besan, semolina and gradually add curd to get a batter of smooth consistency. Add in salt and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • Grease a microwave safe bowl with oil. Add in eno to the batter kept aside for 10 minutes.
  • Pour the batter in the greased bowl. Microwave it for 5 to 7 mins. And if using an OTG then bake at 120 degree celsius for 5 to 7 mins or more.
  • For the tempering : In a small frying pan add some oil. When hot add in mustard seeds, green chilies, salt and 1 tbsp sugar. Add some water and let it cool.
  • Take the dhokla out from the bowl, cut it and pour the tempering over it.
