How to Cook Pineapple Rasam

Ingredients for Pineapple Rasam :

  • 200 gm tomato
  • 500 ml pineapple juice
  • 10 gm coriander leaves
  • 5 gm crushed to paste green chilli
  • salt as required
  • 10 gm coriander powder
  • 5 gm asafoetida
  • 100 ml water
  • 5 gm red chilli
  • 4 curry leaves
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 tablespoon refined oil

How to Cook Pineapple Rasam :

  1. To prepare this main dish recipe, add the tomatoes and coriander leaves in a blender jar and blend to mash them. Now, place a pan over medium flame and add green chilli paste, hing, coriander powder in it. Saute the ingredients until fragrant. Add the mashed tomato, coriander leaves, water and pineapple juice to the pan. Cook it for 10 minutes or until you can smell the aroma. Once done, take it off the flame.
  2. Heat refined oil in a pan over medium flame. When the oil is hot enough, add mustard seeds in it. Let these crackle and then add garlic, curry leaves and whole red chillies in it. Mix them and pour this over the pineapple-tomato curry. Transfer the rasam in a bowl and serve it hot to enjoy!
