Ingredients for Paneer Akuri :

  • 1/2 capsicum (green pepper)
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 green chilli
  • salt as required
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 200 gm paneer
  • 1 tablespoon refined oil
  • 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • black pepper as required
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper
  • 2 sprigs coriander leaves

How to Cook Paneer Akuri :

  1. To prepare this main dish recipe, on a chopping board, finely chop the onions, red and yellow bell pepper, green capsicum, green chillies and mince the garlic cloves. Once done, heat refined oil in pan over medium flame.
  2. When the oil is hot enough, add cumin seeds, chopped green chillies and garlic in it. Saute it until the mixture turns aromatic. Next, add the finely chopped onions along with chopped bell peppers and cook until they are tender.
  3. Now, crumble the paneer and add it to the vegetable mix in the pan. Mix it well. Sprinkle the salt and black pepper powder as per taste over this and mix well. Cook this until the oil separates in the pan. Once done, take it off the flame and transfer it in a bowl. Garnish with coriander sprigs and serve it hot to enjoy!
