Ingredients for Oats Payasam :
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 litre milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 10 cashews
- 10 Raisins
- 2 drops vanilla essence
How to Cook Oats Payasam :
- Mix the oats and 500 ml of milk in a pan. Bring to a boil and keep aside.
- Heat the remaining milk in a separate pan with sugar. When it starts to reduce, add oats, cashewnuts, raisins and vanilla essence.
- Stir gently and remove. Oats are now ready.
- Serve after garnishing with few slices of almonds, cashewnuts and raisins.
