How to cook Naralachi Vadi

    Ingredients to cook Naralachi Vadi :

  • 3 cups – scraped Coconut (2 small sized Coconuts)
  • 2 cups – Sugar
  • 1 cup – Full fat Milk with Cream
  • 1 tsp – Cardamom Powder
  • Ghee for greasing the plate
  • For Garnishing:
  • Silver Varakh as much as required
  • Pistachio flakes

    How to cook Naralachi Vadi :

  • Scrape fresh coconut and mix with sugar and milk together in a bowl.
  • Set it aside for approximately half an hour.
  • Transfer the mix into a non stick pan.
  • Cook over medium flame, 25-30 minutes stirring constantly.
  • Turn off the flame and add Cardamom powder to the mixture. Mix well.
  • Grease an aluminum plate and pour the mixture on it. Spread evenly.
  • Cut into squares when it is hot. Allow it to cool and set.
  • Once the bottom of plate has cooled off completely, remove the Vadis from the plate.
  • Garnish it with Silver Varq and pistachios.
