Ingredients for Methi Malai Matar :
- 1 cup peas
- 1 bunch fenugreek leaves ( methi)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 small ginger
- 1 onion
- handful cashews
- 1 cup milk
- 3 bay leaf
- 2 green chilli
- 3 tablespoon fresh cream
- salt as required
- water as required
- 50 gm butter
- 1 teaspoon coriander leaves
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 200 gm paneer
- 2 clove
How to Cook Methi Malai Matar :
- Start by cutting the paneer into small cubes and set aside. Make a paste of chopped onion, ginger, garlic, sliced green chilies, cumin seeds and cashew using little water in a blender jar.
- Heat butter in a pan over medium flame. Once the butter starts melting add cloves, bay leaves and saute for a minute. Now, add the ground paste prepared above and again saute for 5-6 minutes. Add fenugreek leaves to the pan along with milk and a little water into the pan and boil it for 5 minutes. Add paneer cubes, peas, salt in the pan and let it boil till it thickens. Lastly add fresh coriander leaves and cream. Mix well and serve hot.
