Ingredients for Mattar Ki Kheer :

  • 1/2 cup shelled peas
  • 4 tablespoon ghee
  • 1/2 litre milk
  • 12 raisins
  • 6 green cardamom
  • sugar as required
  • 12 pistachios
  • 10 almonds

How to Cook Mattar Ki Kheer :

  1. To prepare this recipe, boil the peas until they are tender and grind them to a fine paste.
  2. Now, take a thick-bottomed pan and put it over the low flame. Then, add green peas paste along with milk and bring it to a boil.
  3. Let it boil for about 15 minutes until the mixture is reduced to half. Then, add sugar, green cardamom powder, raisins and sliced pistachio nuts to the mixture. Mix well and simmer it for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Remove it from the flame, garnish with almonds and serve.
