How to Cook Kobbari Annam

Ingredients for Kobbari Annam :

  • 300 gm parboiled rice
  • 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon urad dal
  • 1 tablespoon chana dal
  • 1/2 tablespoon chopped green chilli
  • 1 strand curry leaves
  • 4 tablespoon grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoon ghee
  • salt as required
  • 2 red chilli
  • 2 tablespoon coriander leaves

How to Cook Kobbari Annam :

  1. Put a pan on medium flame and melt ghee in it. Then, add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal along with chopped green chilli and curry leaves in the pan. Saute them for a few seconds and then add the parboiled rice in the pan. Toss well and cook rice for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Now, add grated coconut along with salt as per your taste and coconut milk. Mix all the ingredients well and cook rice for another 5 minutes. Put this pan aside and on the same burner, put another pan and fry the red chillies in oil over medium flame. Garnish the rice with them along with coriander leaves.
