Ingredients to cook Kalakand :
- 400 g Condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups freshly made Paneer/chenna
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
- 2-3 tbsp Almonds chopped
How to cook Kalakand :
Grease a plate or place aluminum foil on a plate
Wrap the paneer in a muslin cloth and hang to drain excess water.
Once drained, crumble the paneer and keep aside.
Pour the condensed milk in a pan and warm over low heat.
Add the milk, paneer and cardamom powder.
Mix well and cook over low heat. Stirring to avoid burning.
Once it becomes thick, remove from heat.
Transfer this onto the greased plate or foil. Spread it evenly into a half inch thickness.
Smooth the top and sprinkle chopped almonds. Press gently.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Cut into cubes and serve.
