How to Cook Dum Paneer

Ingredients for Dum Paneer :

  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 4 Clove
  • 4 Cardamom
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Green Chillies
  • 3 Tbsp Curd
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper Powder
  • 20 cubes Paneer
  • 2 Tbsp Cream
  • 1/4 tsp Black Peppercorn (crushed)
  • 10 Mint Leaves
  • As per need Water
  • 1 tsp Coriander Leaves

How to Cook Dum Paneer :

  1. Take oil in a pan.
  2. Saute onion in it till golden brown. Grind the onion to make a paste.
  3. Take cloves, cardamom, cinnamon stick and the onion paste in the pan of oil
  4. Saute them well and add ginger, garlic and green chillies.
  5. Mix thoroughly. Add curd followed by cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chillie powder, salt and garam masala
  6. Mix them well and add black pepper powder
  7. Saute and add paneer cubes.
  8. Pour some cream over the paneer mixture.
  9. Add water to form a gravy followed by crushed black peppercorn.
  10. Cover the pan with foil paper and the lid. Let it cook.
  11. Open the pan with simmering gravy and add mint leaves and coriander leaves to it.
  12. Mix well and serve hot.
