Ingredients for Corn Poha :

  • 2 tablespoon coriander leaves
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 cup pressed rice
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • salt as required
  • 1/3 cup sev
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sliced & slit green chillies
  • 1 cup boiled corn
  • 1 tablespoon refined oil
  • 1 cup onion
  • sugar as required
  • 1/3 cup tomato
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup

How to Cook Corn Poha :

  1. To prepare this wholesome recipe, take pressed rice and wash it under running water. Once done, keep aside. Now take a chopping board and chop onion, tomato and coriander leaves.
  2. Next, heat a pan over medium flame and add oil along with mustard seeds in it. Wait for 5 seconds and then put the chopped onions in the hot pan and saute for about a minute or two, or until the onions become translucent.
  3. Add sweet corn and stir for a while. Add beaten rice and stir again. Make sure you keep stirring during the whole process. Now add turmeric powder, sugar, salt, green chilli paste along with coriander and lime juice. Pour soya sauce, tomato ketchup and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Lastly, add chopped tomato, onion, sev and a lemon wedge. Your corn poha is ready to be served and savored.
