Ingredients of Beans Poriyal :
- 1 cup green beans
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 2 red chilli
- 2 tablespoon curry leaves
- 2 teaspoon urad dal
- 2 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoon grated coconut
How to Cook Beans Poriyal :
- To prepare this delicious dish, wash the green beans and chop them in a bowl. Then, heat oil in a pan over medium flame and add mustard seeds to it and let them splutter.
- Then, add curry leaves along with urad dal in the pan, and cook for a minute.
- Now, add the chopped beans and red chillies in the pan and cover the pan with a lid. Let the beans cook for about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the beans are cooked, turn off the flame and remove the pan from it. Add salt as per your taste and mix well.
- Transfer the dish to a serving bowl and garnish with a mixture of grated coconut. Serve immediately.
