How to Cook Beans Poriyal

Ingredients of Beans Poriyal :

  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 red chilli
  • 2 tablespoon curry leaves
  • 2 teaspoon urad dal
  • 2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoon grated coconut

How to Cook Beans Poriyal :

  1. To prepare this delicious dish, wash the green beans and chop them in a bowl. Then, heat oil in a pan over medium flame and add mustard seeds to it and let them splutter.
  2. Then, add curry leaves along with urad dal in the pan, and cook for a minute.
  3. Now, add the chopped beans and red chillies in the pan and cover the pan with a lid. Let the beans cook for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Once the beans are cooked, turn off the flame and remove the pan from it. Add salt as per your taste and mix well.
  5. Transfer the dish to a serving bowl and garnish with a mixture of grated coconut. Serve immediately.
